ALPHA don’t ease you in. “BUGIN TUNDE” (Kazakh for “tonight”) opens on a slow walk through an abandoned building, and then, at the 25-second mark, the picture cuts to four young men in fur hats and the beat lands all at once. The video came out on 26 August 2026 and has passed 190,000 views, and one reaction channel has already put the question in its title: how is this not a global hit?
Who ALPHA are
ALPHA are a four-member group from Kazakhstan: A.Boo, i, N.B and Qozzy. They debuted on 29 October 2021 with “Seni oilai”, a video now past 2.6 million views, and broke through with “KIM OL?” in October 2024, which is closing in on 5.9 million views on their own channel. “ZHOLDAR” has passed 1.6 million. Fan profiles describe Qozzy as the group’s leader and main rapper, A.Boo and N.B as vocalists and composers, and i as lead dancer and creative director. In June 2025 the group announced that its rapper Dark had left.
Self-made
Speaking to Fox 13 Seattle, the members called ALPHA “an independent group that is self-made”, working without outside producers or a label behind them. Asked for the best way in, they pick four songs: “KIM OL?”, “BUGIN TUNDE”, “JIBER” and “Seni Oilai”. Since “BUGIN TUNDE” they have kept the pace up with “PUMP IT” and “QYZGANAMYN”, released on 29 September.
The video
“BUGIN TUNDE” is Kazakh street style turned up loud: fur hats, a jacket with KAZAKHSTAN across the back, a traditional patterned carpet as a backdrop, crates of coloured powder thrown through the air, and full-crew choreography in the shell of a ruined building. It is Q-pop, the scene that took off with Ninety One in 2015, grown up and doing things its own way.

♥ 14For Those Who Doesn't know Qazaq Language nut wants to know what does guys Singing about:
♥ 79No one can hold me back
Let’s keep going until dawn
Even if the weather changes
My mood will never change
If you can feel it,
Raise your hands to the cosmos
Besides,
These days of youth will pass
As long as my heart beats,
I’ll love forever
The whole world is our home
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
No one can hold me back
Let’s keep going until dawn
Even if the weather changes
My mood will never change
Qo-qozzy
My mood...
Every night,
Is it the last time for me? Yeah
I live!
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
Tonight, I’ll be waiting for you
Let’s forget everything for a moment
This feeling keeps coming back again and again
When it appears, there’s no need for a thousand words
But don’t fight the sadness...
Thank U
♥ 3THANK YOU SO MUCH🩷
