Jalda (Jalda Badouran) hindi nagpi-pick ng easy version ng kahit ano. “Taking the easy path isn’t for me,” sabi ng 26-year-old taga-Täby, north of Stockholm, sa Elle Sweden noong August – at ang hyperpop single niyang “ANIME MIG”, out September 4, 2026 sa Island Records Sweden, parang ganun din ang dating.
Produced by WILJAM (William Segerdahl) ang track, at ang title ay pun – “anime me”, pero, sabi ng isang listener sa comments under the video, malapit din sa Swedish for “are you with me”.
– the editor

What each part of the song is about, and its slang.
Verse 1
The singer throws out clipped, playful boasts about checks, money, style, and showing up with confidence. Several phrases are deliberately slangy or nonsensical, but the overall feeling is swagger: they have something flashy and unexpected ready.
Pre-Chorus 1
They say they’ll send a text, answer with emojis, and keep moving without worrying about being popular or whether things work out. “Konnis” seems to mean connections or social confidence, while “fonis” is likely playful slang rather than a precise word.
Chorus 1
The singer demands respect while dismissing parts of the music industry and telling others to enjoy themselves. “Dragon ballin” means going all-out with exaggerated, anime-inspired power and confidence.
Post-Chorus 1
This is a colorful image of a flashy look, big ambitions, and a close-knit crew in matching hoodies and style. “220 i min ficka Kawasaki” evokes high speed and motorcycle energy, while returning in the next “episode” means they’ll bounce back even after death or failure.
Verse 2
This repeats the opening’s boastful, surreal flexing about checks, appearance, and arriving with flair. The unusual slang is more about rhythm and attitude than literal storytelling.
Pre-Chorus 2
The singer presents themself as uninsured, fearless, and willing to take risks, while saying outsiders or older people are trying to interfere. The wording is fragmented, but the intent is defiance: they trust their own crew and refuse to be controlled.
Chorus 2
The singer demands respect, brushes off the industry, and lets everyone else live well while they pursue their own larger-than-life energy. “Dragon ballin” again suggests powering up and dominating with cartoonish confidence.
Post-Chorus 2
The singer celebrates a glittery, exaggerated image, a dream that moves too fast, and loyalty among best friends. The Kawasaki reference means speed and danger, while “back next episode” promises resilience and a comeback.
Verse 3
The opening boast returns once more, using clipped, playful slang to project confidence, money, style, and momentum. Its meaning is mainly tonal: the singer is arriving boldly and refusing to appear ordinary.
Bridge 1
People everywhere think they are seeing double, suggesting the singer’s image or presence is overwhelming and larger than life. “Tar det innan” and “legat under” point to taking opportunities early and rising from a position of being underestimated; the repeated question asks the crowd to join in.
Chorus 3
The repeated “check” works like a chant or hype signal, asking the audience whether they are with the singer. The final Kawasaki, matching-crew, and comeback lines reinforce speed, loyalty, and the promise that nothing can keep them down.
What the Swedish says, line by line.
Verse 1
Check, got a warning check
The question is what I do
“Joppa pink” came straight away
Got such a baby check
See how one is sprayed
I’ve got a full baloney
So I’m coming with a flex
Pre-Chorus 1
Okay
Look, sending a text
Just answer with emojis
It’ll be easy
I think I’ve got good connections
Swinging to or from
I don’t care if I’m popular
I don’t care if it works out
And the hug said I’m phony
Chorus 1
Give me my respect
Hang in there, you get
Half the industry
Those who were
But you can have the best
You can have it nice
Cause I'm dragon ballin in this bitch yo
Post-Chorus 1
The hair, the pike, made of plastic and glitter
Big eyes that we stare with
I had a dream, I can barely keep up
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
220 in my pocket, Kawasaki
Same hoodie, same style, my besties
If I die, I’m back in the next episode
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
Verse 2
Check, got a warning check
The question is what I do
“Joppa pink” came straight away
Got such a baby check
See how one is sprayed
I’ve got a full baloney
So I’m coming with a flex
Pre-Chorus 2
Okay
No insurance on me
I take a little more test
Inside, there’s no ally
That feeling was us, so we
This is how I’ve always been
I go to an equal shot kiss
Too many guests standing in the east
Too many old guys prompting
Chorus 2
Give me my respect
Hang in there, you get
Half the industry
Those who were
But you can have the best
You can have it nice
Cause I'm dragon ballin in this bitch yo
Post-Chorus 2
The hair, the pike, made of plastic and glitter
Big eyes that we stare with
I had a dream, I can barely keep up
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
220 in my pocket, Kawasaki
Same hoodie, same style, my besties
If I die, I’m back in the next episode
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
Verse 3
Check, got a warning check
The question is what I do
“Joppa pink” came straight away
Got such a baby check
See how one is sprayed
I’ve got a full baloney
So I’m coming with a flex
Bridge 1
Ah
Everywhere, people think they’re seeing double
Of course you take it before you’ve always been underneath
So are you with me
Are you with me
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
Chorus 3
Check check check check
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
Check check check check
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
220 in my pocket, Kawasaki
Same hoodie, same style, my besties
If I die, I’m back in the next episode
Are you with me, are you with me, are you with me
A singable version: same lines and rhythm, written to fit the melody.
Verse 1
Check, got a warning, check
Asking what I do
Pink job came straight through
Got that baby check
See how I spray
Got a full baloney
So I’m coming with a flex
Pre-Chorus 1
Okay
Look, sending a text
Replying just with emojis
It’ll go real easy
Think I got good connie
Swinging to or from
Don’t care if I’m poppin’
Don’t care if it’s gone
And the hug said I’m phonies
Chorus 1
Give me my respect
Stay right here, man, for sure
Half the industry
The ones who were
But y’all can have the best
Y’all can have it sweet
’Cause I’m dragon ballin’ in this bitch, yo
Post-Chorus 1
Hair like plastic, glitter shinin’
Big eyes, yeah, we keep on starin’
Had a dream, barely have time to get it
Are you with me, with me, with me
Two-twenty in my pocket, Kawasaki
Same hoodie, same style, my besties
If I die, I’m back again next episode
Are you with me, with me, with me

Pre-Chorus 2

I take a little more test

Too many old guys prompting

Half the industry
The ones who were
