ログドラム・ネイション：南アフリカを超えるアマピアノ

アマピアノは意図的に減速された脈拍の上に成り立っている。標準的なハウスが安定したテンポで前進する一方、アマピアノは110〜120 BPMの間のゆったりとしたポケットに落ち着く。そのテンポが生み出す空間は、ベルベットのようなグルーヴ、ゆるいパーカッシブなリズム、ジャズピアノのボイシングのための余白を残す。それらの要素の下には、このスタイルを定義する特徴であるログドラムが存在する。そのアコースティックな名前とは裏腹に、ログドラムは実際の木製打楽器ではなく、低音の重みとシンコペーションされたメロディックなパンチの両方を提供するためにチューニングされ操作されるシンセベーストーンだ。
