As pistas de dança da Suécia estão olhando para trás e para frente ao mesmo tempo neste outubro. Em Estocolmo, o Black Planet toma conta do Slakthuset no dia 10 de outubro com três andares: techno dos anos 90, acid e hardcore em um, Eurodance em outro, e uma trance lounge para quem precisa sentar. Os organizadores mantêm os lineups em segredo e deixam a pista falar. Duas noites antes, o Rikky Disco levou disco house, French house e funky house para o mesmo prédio, com DJ sets misturados com vocais ao vivo, guitarra e teclado. Depois o Debaser Nova liga o pop no volume máximo: Pop Divas Night em 16 de outubro roda por pedidos, e LASHES em 23 de outubro mistura La Bouche, Aqua e Vengaboys junto com Kesha e Tove Lo. Vá para o oeste e o Supernatural Dance de Gotemburgo (17 a 18 de outubro, Hängmattan no Musikens hus) vai full synth, HiNRG e Italo Disco, com apenas 130 ingressos.
Superjalda é o nome para dar play primeiro. "BLOND" saiu em 10 de abril pela An Island Nordic, um corte certeiro de três minutos que cai bem num warm-up. "Run Free" da Snoh Aalegra é o outro nome para colocar na fila aqui. Se você quer ouvir para onde a noite de Gotemburgo está indo, confira Knight$, o ato britânico cuja mistura de HiNRG e Italodisco ele chama de "Britalodisco", e Ankomst, a dupla sueca de synthpop na mesma lineup. Disco Digitale, uma dupla de irmãos ativa desde 2003, também toca.
Fique de olho no Super Music Club #7 de Malmö em 9 de outubro, um show intimista das 19h às 22h onde oito artistas tocam músicas inéditas. Esses são os sets que costumam acabar nas clubs do mês seguinte.
